In the frame of the Schwerin Workshop the INCORD-pilot projects were assessed in elaborating a regional SWOT-analysis.
The 2nd INCORD meeting was composed of four main parts:
- The pilot regions presented the status of their pilot RDCs. They
are currently in the process of elaborating a regional SWOT-analysis
and presented first analyses' results. Prof. Dehne from the University
of Applied Science in Neubrandenburg gave a lecture on SWOT-analyses as
introduction for the further discussions.
- The role that Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) are playing in Germany and Eastern Europe
regarding regional policy has been discussed. The INCORD
partners who are working for a RDA presented their main activities and
tasks.
- A seminar on EU-funding has been held. Mainly, the structure of
the current programming period in all partner countries has been
presented.
- The INCORD project was presented to a wider public in the
frame of the conference "Urban and Regional Development in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" in Güstrow.
