Please find all presentations and the minutes of the meeting as download below.
The 3rd INCORD workshop was
structured as follows:
1st workshop day: The
partners from the Malopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR) presented the
region around Krakow in terms of historic development, current (economic) situation etc. Besides,
some regional projects that are related to their RDC-process were presented and
visited.
2nd workshop day: A conference aiming at discussing the specific implementation of the
EU-Structural and Regional Policy in Poland, the Czech Republic and Estonia and reflecting the
possibilities of financing the RDC-measures by European means was organised. A
representative of the European Commission, DG Regio, gave a deeper insight
regarding the perspectives of the EU-Structural Policy from 2007 on in the New
Member States. And national representatives of the Czech and Polish Ministry
presented their ideas and views on the current and future implementation of the
EU-Structural Funds. Leading questions of
the conference were: Which problems did arise during the current programming
period regarding the implementation of the EU-Structural Funds? How have these
problems been solved so far? What are the concrete plans for the next
programming period 2007 to 2013?
3rd workshop day: The 3rd workshop served
as platform for exchanging the experiences and ideas within the pilot projects.
Each pilot region presented the status of their pilot RDC-process. Besides, the
pilot projects have been assisted and assessed in the question “how to develop
a vision for a region?”. Prof. Dr. Knieling from the University of Hamburg gave some
practical and useful hints for this process. At the end, the partners concluded
general hints and recommendations for the development of a vision within a
RDC-process and presented their first ideas for a regional vision.
