The INTERREG IIIC programme is one of the three strands of the EU Community Initiative INTERREG III. During the period from 2002 to 2006 the programme is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Strand C supports interregional co-operation between different non-neighbouring regions throughout Europe. Central objective of INTERREG IIIC is the improvement of the political instruments of the European regional and structural funding.
