Themes of Interest

Within interregional workshops, seminars and conferences the following aspects are examined:

Institutional Structures of Regional Development
Since the mutual knowledge and the comprehension of institutional regional structures are evident for the discussion of the RDC-issue, the potentials and weaknesses of the existing structures are examined.
Development of integrated Regional Development Concepts
The project reflects, reconsiders and adjusts existing methods and procedures of RDCs and develops common guidelines, best practice-examples and political recommendations.
EU-Structural and Regional Policy
As RDCs represent a strategic basis for further development projects which are often financed by EU-Structural Funds, the project also addresses the general EU-funding systems and its specific implementation mode.
