Objectives INCORD is fostering an intense and
targeted interregional cooperation by transferring and gathering
different experiences and specific knowledge on integrated Regional
Development Concepts (RDC). In this context, INCORD has the following
objectives:
- to organise an intense mutual learning process between "old" and "new" member states in the field of RDCs,
- to reflect, reconsider and adjust existing methods and procedures of RDCs,
- to improve the development process of RDCs by elaborating common guidelines and best practice-examples,
- to give recommendations for efficient institutional structures and a better use of EU-funds on basis of RDCs,
- to sensitise and raise awareness for the importance of RDCs and to disseminate expertise for their development.
