The Ostrowice commune covering 140 sq km is inhabited by about 3,000 people. The majority of its area is encompassed within the limits of Drawski Scenic Park.
Its attractions include
natural paths and tourist trails crossing the land and established by communes:
Złocieniec, Drawsko Pomorskie and Połczyn Zdrój.
In the Ostrowice commune, in Nowe
Worowo, there is the historic Dutch windmill from the 19th c. In Gronowo you may
see a barrow cemetery and a traditional cemetery from the Roman period (1st-3rd
c. AD). The commune has also got a noteworthy collection of furnishings of
country cottages.
