Zlocieneic
In the central part of Drawskie Lake District, between three large lakes: Drawsko, Siecino and Lubie, in the basin of the Drawa river, there stretches the Złocieniec Commune.
It covers
195 sq km. Among its large reservoirs there are holiday camps and campsites
offering leisure on clear lakes of intact nature. Hiking, cycling and canoeing
trails leading you along fascinating and mysterious routes are another
attraction of the region. Rivers Wąsawa and Drawa flow through the town of the biggest population number
in the county (nearly 15,000 residents). The most precious monuments of
architecture in the commune include the medieval architecture of the city
centre , i.e. the marketplace with a Gothic church from the 17th c., the town
hall housing at present the Town and Commune Office, 19th-century houses.
