The EGS
Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, working in the federal state of
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern since 1991, operates in the field of urban and
regional development. Currently the EGS attend to 25 cities and
municipalities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with a total of 37 urban
development measures.
The EGS is associated with the Landgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mbH and Landesgrunderwerb Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH.
The consortiums 225 employees take care of a wide range of tasks. The services include not
only consulting but also the management of extensive urban and rural
developing measures. The consortium acts as a trustee or on own
business.
The EGS tasks include the support of cities and municipalities in the following fields:
- Renewing historical city centres
- Developing conversion areas
- Developing fallow land within the centres
- Reconstruction and development of large areas with prefabricated buildings
- Deconstruction of living space or infrastructure
- Regional development concepts
- Urban development concepts
The support contains:
- Project development on own business or on commission transaction
- Handling financial, legal or planning problems
- Acquisition and supervision of loan programs
- Preparation of regional development concepts
- Preparation of urban development concepts
- Preparation of production site analysis , synopsis and feasibility studies
- Prearrangement and implementation of workshops, panel of experts or miscellaneous activities
- Offering of moderation services
